In addition to the various face-to-face approaches, the GEES Subject Centre maintains an up-to-date online database of examples of practice in learning and teaching; and our website holds information and archives on our various Projects / themes and Events past and present.

The Resource Database covers case studies of good practice, tutorials, journal articles, and course textbooks and references. Every resource that is catalogued in the database is first examined for quality and relevance. (It should be noted that while the database includes materials such as tutorials, case studies and pedagogic research it tends not to hold general subject-based content. Information on resources such as data services, organisational web sites, research centres and bibliographic databases are held by the relevant Intute database. For example, the GEES Subject Centre resource database would hold a record describing how a GEES academic used the NASA website in their teaching but not necessarily store a record describing the NASA website itself).
